Sandpoint Kiwanis Holds Annual Bazaar

Sandpoint, ID ― The 2010 All Bonner County Bazaar and Craft Sale will be held at the Sandpoint Community Hall in downtown Sandpoint, 204 S. First Avenue (across from the Courthouse), on Friday and Saturday, October 8-9. Hours for the traditional autumn event are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. There is no admission fee.

Quality craft vendors will present cottage crafts including jewelry, home décor, candles, clothing, artwork, holiday items, soaps and lotions, honey, candy, greeting cards, children’s books, chair massages and more. Kootenai Kountry Kettle & Dutch Bakery of Kootenai, ID will serve a lunch menu both days, as well as a variety of bakery items.

The event is sponsored by Sandpoint Kiwanis Club, an affiliate of Kiwanis International, a global service organization. Chartered in 1927, Kiwanis was the first service club in Sandpoint. Coined from an American Indian expression, “Nunc Kee-wanis,” the name Kiwanis means “we trade” or “we share our talents.” Kiwanians are volunteers dedicated to changing the world through service to children and communities. Proceeds from the Annual Bazaar will help to provide scholarships for area high school students.
