North Idaho College will hold an information session guiding prospective students through the admissions process for the radiography technology program at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 31 in the Meyer Health and Sciences Building Room 102.
Students will be applying for spring semester 2011, which begins Jan. 10. The program is a five-semester associate’s degree program that prepares students for careers as radiologic technologists in settings such as hospitals, clinics and imaging centers.
The program has a selective admissions process and several course requirements. Program applications will be accepted through Oct. 1. NIC Health Professions and Nursing Division staff will walk students through the application process during the information session.
The session is free and open to anyone interested.
Applications are available in the Health Professions Office in the Meyer Health and Sciences Building Room 257, in the NIC Admissions Office in Lee-Kildow Hall or by calling (208) 676-7132. More information and an application can be downloaded at www.nic.edu by clicking on the “Instructional Programs” link and selecting “Radiography Technology” from the drop-down menu.
